A thought framework for improving manual sludge transport methods. Held at the premises of ForthInvestment on October 29, 2021, this experience-sharing session with IRC, the Practica Foundation, 2IE – Institut International d’Ingénierie de l’Eau et de l’Environnement, the company Bande Assainissor (a beneficiary of the WASH PERFORMING SMEs program), and other manual emptiers resulted in proposals for more suitable, hygienic, and secure fecal sludge transport methods.
