PME Performantes Wash

Developed by ForthInvestment in collaboration with Aqua for All, SME PERFORMANTES WASH is a program that aims to sustain 10 SMEs in the WASH (Water, Sanitation, Integrated Water Resources Management) sector. It was deployed in partnership with IRC WASH, Sinergi Burkina, La Maison de la PME (Société Générale Burkina Faso) and other players in the financing and support of the public and private sector.

PROGRAM FLOW

With a duration of fifteen (15) months, PME PERFORMANTES WASH program started in February 2021. After a three (03) month selection phase, 10 SMEs in the sector were selected. These SMEs received technical and financial support for ten (10) months.

AREA OF INTERVENTION

The field of WASH is essential for the well-being of the Burkinabe population, so PME PERFORMANTES WASH program aims to impact the water economy through the SMEs of the sectors.

DRINKING WATER

Delegation of water points (management of standpipes), construction and operation of water supply networks, construction of boreholes, etc.

SANITATION

The sanitation sector encompasses the toilet economy and circular sanitation. It is represented by septic tank emptying, wastewater management, construction companies, etc.

INTEGRATED WATER RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (IWRM)

IWRM includes structures involved in Recharge, Retention and Reuse (3R). Specifically, companies building and managing water supply and sanitation infrastructure, consulting firms working in the WASH sector, rainwater harvesting structures, etc.

Specialized in the construction of innovative and ecological toilets.

Centrale des travaux

Company of mechanical emptying his ambition is to set up a garage specialized in the maintenance and the repair of trucks emptying.

ENER-AF

Working in the water and renewable energy sectors. Also involved in the construction of modern public latrines, the management of drain sludge and the sale of sanitary facilities.

GESB

Specialized in the design of software and particularly those adapted to the WASH sector.

FEDis

Company of production and distribution of water filters and their accessories.

Hine Manfo

Is involved in the management of public latrines. It also offers cleaning services.

Bilada

Company of production and marketing of chlorinated solutions for the treatment of water and disinfecting solutions.

Global Assainissement International

Intervenes in the manual cleaning of latrines, the rehabilitation of sanitation facilities and the recovery of sludge.

DOUN INGENIERIE

Specialized in the construction and rehabilitation of sanitation works.

Farafina Eco-Engineering

Provides waterworks installation and design services.
