Job and Business Booster (JBB)

Job and Business Booster is a three-year program whose main objective is to support 360 young entrepreneurs, 50% of whom are women, to create and consolidate 1080 dignified jobs, 50% of whom are women, in the following regions of Burkina-Faso: Centre, Hauts Bassins, Boucle du Mouhoun, Cascades, and Centre-Ouest.

PROGRAM FLOW

Starting in December 2022, JBB will last for three (03) years. The implementation strategy consists of recruiting entrepreneurs in three (3) cohorts of 90 in order to optimize their coaching. Each participant of the cohorts will receive fifteen (15) months of support divided into three stages: (i) Support and pre-financing coaching; (ii) Support to access financing; (iii) Post-financing accompaniment and coaching.

AREAS OF INTERVENTION

JBB targets entrepreneurs involved in the following sectors:

AGRICULTURE

Forestry, production and marketing of cereals and market garden products, training in the agricultural sector, etc.

BREEDING

Poultry farming, beekeeping, fish farming, cattle and pig farming, etc.

RENEWABLE ENERGY

Marketing and installation of solar and hydraulic systems, biodigesters, recycling, etc.

FOOD PROCESSING

Production of fruit juices, herbal teas, infusions, marketing of local dishes, etc.

THE BENEFICIARIES

This program targets young entrepreneurs who are between the ages of 15 and 35, with formalized businesses or businesses in the process of being formalized with strong growth and job creation potential. Some of the program's beneficiary companies

GINA COSMETICS

it is involved in the production of fruit juice and the transformation of fruit residues into cosmetic products.

Resto BIO

Contributes to the valorization of local dishes through the marketing of cooked and pre-cooked dishes.

Banniba Emballage

Produces and markets bio-degradable packaging.

ADORA’S SERVICES

Is involved in food processing, particularly in the production of drinks and nectars.

DOFIBO trade

Is involved in the production and marketing of agricultural and market garden products (tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh corn).

EDEN VITALITE

Evolves in the production of infusions based on therapeutic and medicinal plants.

Nouvelle Savonnerie Du Kadiogo (NSK)

Is specialized in the transformation of shea butter into soap.

Bureau d’Ecoute de Conseils en Agronomie et Protection de l’Environnement (BECAPE)

Is involved in agricultural production (millet, corn, rice, etc.) and is also involved in training and advisory support in the agricultural sector.

SERVICE AGRO ELEVAGE (SAEL)

Intervenes in the sale of products and agricultural inputs. It also markets and installs drip irrigation systems.
